The #1 Mistake Beginner Day Traders Make (and how to fix it)

Most beginners blow their account within 90 days. Not because they pick bad stocks — because they don't manage risk.

Here's what I see over and over: someone finds a good setup, goes all-in, and when it drops 3% they panic sell at the worst possible time. Then they revenge trade to make it back and dig a deeper hole.

The fix is dead simple: Never risk more than 1-2% of your account on a single trade.

If you have a $5,000 account, your max loss per trade is $50-100. That means you set a stop loss BEFORE you enter — not after, not "mentally." An actual order sitting on the books.

When you risk small, you can be wrong 6 out of 10 times and still be profitable. That's the whole game. You don't need to be right most of the time. You need your winners to be bigger than your losers.

This one shift took me from blowing accounts to consistent green months. It's boring, but boring makes money.

I share daily signals and breakdowns inside TradeFlow for anyone serious about learning to trade the right way.
