Why I started paying someone $25 to run my errands (and why it's not a luxury)

I used to lose 90 minutes of my Tuesday to a grocery run and a pharmacy line. That's 90 minutes I could've billed at my actual hourly rate, or just used to breathe.

So I started TRUSTRUNNER — a same-day local errand service. No subscription, no commitment. You submit a request (grocery pickup, prescription run, local delivery), pay $25 per run, and it's handled same-day.

Here's the math that convinced me this isn't a luxury: if your time is worth more than $25/hour (which, if you're a working professional, it almost certainly is), outsourcing a 60-90 minute errand is a net gain, not an expense.

The hardest part of running a service like this isn't the errands — it's trust. That's why every request and update lives in one place, so there's a clear record of what was asked and what got done. No sketchy DMs, no 'did you get my text.'

If you're in a city where errands eat your week, this is worth trying once. If you run something similar, I'd genuinely love to compare notes on scheduling and coverage.
