The 3 systems every busy professional needs (and how to build them in Google Sheets)

Most productivity advice is generic. "Use a to-do list." "Wake up at 5am." Cool, that doesn't work when you're juggling 47 things.

After years of testing different systems, I've found that busy professionals only need 3 things to stay on track:

1. A weekly planner that actually fits your workflow

Not a pretty template you'll abandon in 3 days. One that maps your priorities to time blocks and has a quick daily review built in. The magic is in the review — spending 5 minutes at end of day to rate what worked and what didn't.

2. A habit tracker with streaks

Simple. Pick 3-5 habits max. Track them daily. The visual streak is what keeps you accountable. No apps needed — a well-designed spreadsheet beats any $12/month habit app.

3. A goals dashboard with milestones

Big goals fail because they stay abstract. Break them into 90-day sprints, then weekly milestones. When you can see your progress on a single sheet, you stop feeling overwhelmed and start executing.

I built all three of these as ready-to-use Google Sheets and planner PDFs. No fluff, no setup headaches — just open and start using them.
