The AI agent trust problem nobody's talking about

Last month, a hotel chain processed 14,000 bookings from AI agents. 23% of those agents had been involved in fraudulent reservations on other platforms within the past 90 days.

The problem isn't AI agents. The problem is that there's no way to tell which ones are trustworthy.

Think about it — when a human books a room, you can check their credit score, their ID, their booking history. When an AI agent books a room on behalf of a user, you have... nothing. You're flying blind.

That's what we're building at Verita. A trust score for AI agents. Same concept as a credit score, but applied to the bots interacting with your systems.

Every agent gets a score from 0-100 based on:

  • Transaction history across platforms

  • Behavioral consistency patterns

  • Association with known fraud vectors

  • Compliance with platform ToS across services

Hotels and travel platforms are the first vertical we're tackling, but this problem exists everywhere AI agents transact.

If you're a platform dealing with AI agent traffic and want early access, we're onboarding our first cohort now.
