This one prompt trick changed everything for me
Most people prompt AI like this:
"Write me a marketing email"
And then wonder why the output sounds generic.
Here's the same request, rewritten with one simple framework:
"You are a senior email copywriter who specializes in DTC brands. Write a welcome email for new subscribers to an organic skincare brand targeting women aged 25-40. Keep it under 150 words, use a warm conversational tone, and end with a clear call to action. Don't mention pricing or discounts."
The difference?
The first prompt gives the AI a million possible directions
The second prompt narrows it down to exactly what you need
The framework is called RTF — Role, Task, Format. It takes 10 extra seconds to write and saves you 10 minutes of re-prompting.
