Thought Compass
Guide your mind out of loops that quietly run your life.
Most mental wellness tools ask you to journal everything. Thought Compass asks you to focus on just one thing — the thought pattern that keeps pulling you back.
This Notion template is a targeted reflection tool built around a simple daily practice: Notice. Log. Reframe. Instead of sifting through scattered thoughts, you identify a single recurring pattern — overthinking, self-criticism, a reactive habit — and work through it intentionally, one day at a time.
How it works:
→ Add one recurring thought to Thoughts in Focus, describe it clearly, and define the response you want to practice instead
→ Return each evening for a quick check-in: Did it appear? Did you catch it? Did you respond differently?
→ Track your active pattern with a visual Progress arc — only your current thought in practice is counted
→ Archive patterns you're not ready to tackle in Paused, and celebrate the ones you've shifted in Mastered
The template recommends staying with one thought for at least 3–4 weeks before moving to the next — a method rooted in LifestyleRx, a 12-week Canadian publicly funded program for behavioural health.
Designed mobile-first for a clean, distraction-free end-of-day check-in.
