5 things I check every time I walk into Target

Most people walk into Target with a list and leave with a cart full of stuff they didn't need at full price. I walk in and leave with 70% off items that aren't even supposed to be on sale yet.

Here's my quick checklist:

1. End caps with yellow tags — These are active markdowns, but the ones in the back corners of departments are where the real steals hide.

2. The clearance endcap in electronics — Target cycles electronics clearance every Tuesday. If you're there Wednesday morning, you're already late.

3. Scan everything with the Target app — The shelf price and the app price are different more often than you'd think. I've found $5 items scanning at $0.50.

4. Check the baby/kids section last — This section gets marked down the most aggressively because seasonal inventory turns over fast.

5. Ask about price adjustments — If something you bought in the last 14 days dropped in price, they'll refund the difference.

This is barely scratching the surface. I share 10-20 deals like this daily inside Shelf Steals — clearance finds, price errors, and hidden markdowns from Target, Walmart, Costco, and more.
