YouTube comments are not a community
Kenyan storytelling used to live in living rooms. Then it lived on Citizen TV. Then it lived on a stool in front of a camera.
The comments under a Young and Stupid episode are not a room. They're a hallway. People shout, leave, forget.
The people who actually sit with the stories — diaspora, Nairobi, the ones who send the episode to their cousin at 1am — have nowhere to go after the video ends.
That's the gap. Not more content. A place to sit after the story.
If you've been watching from the hallway, the door is open.
