The 5 rules of winning any water balloon fight
I've been obsessed with water balloon fights since I was 8 years old. Now I build water balloon grenade launchers. Here's what I've learned after years of organized water chaos:
1. High ground wins. Every. Single. Time. If you're on a hill or elevated surface, your range doubles and your opponents can't dodge.
2. Pre-fill, don't scramble. The #1 mistake people make is trying to fill balloons mid-fight. Have your ammo staged and ready to go. 50 balloons minimum per person.
3. Flanking > frontal assault. Send one person as a distraction. Everyone else comes from the side. Nobody expects it.
4. Use a launcher, not your arm. I'm biased, but the physics don't lie. A launcher gives you 3-5x the range of a hand throw. It's not even close.
5. Ice water is the ultimate power move. Fill your balloons with ice water 30 minutes before the fight. The shock factor alone wins half your battles.
Summer's coming. Are you ready?
