"I tried Facebook ads and they didn't work" is the #1 thing I hear. The problem isn't the platform — it's targeting homeowners in a 15-mile radius with a generic "call us" ad. Geo-targeted ads with before/after photos and a clear offer (free estimate, seasonal discount) change the game.

3. No follow-up system

A lead comes in, you're on a job site, and by the time you call back 4 hours later they already hired someone else. Automated SMS follow-up within 60 seconds is the single biggest ROI move you can make.

4. Zero online reviews (or buried bad ones)

88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. If you have 3 reviews from 2019, you're invisible. Build a system to ask every happy customer for a review — make it as easy as clicking one link.

5. You're trying to do your own marketing

You wouldn't hire a marketer to do your roofing. Stop trying to be your own marketing department. Focus on the craft, let someone else fill the pipeline.
