1. Your culture IS the aesthetic. Stop trying to "modernize" your traditions into something unrecognizable. The most stunning weddings I've designed lean INTO the culture, not away from it. Gold dirac and henna aren't "too much" — they're the foundation.

2. Pinterest is a starting point, not a blueprint. I see brides save 400 pins and still feel lost. A designer's job isn't to copy photos — it's to extract the feeling you're chasing and build something original around it.

3. Venue before everything. Your flowers, your draping, your lighting — none of it matters if the venue fights the vibe. Pick the space first, then design into it.

4. Budget honesty saves relationships. Tell your designer what you actually want to spend, not what you think sounds impressive. I can make $5K look like $15K, but only if I know the real number.

5. The details your guests remember aren't the expensive ones. It's the custom welcome sign in calligraphy, the scented candles that match the season, the playlist that transitions from dinner to dabke seamlessly. Intention > expense, every time.
