Stop sorting wedding vendors by Instagram. Sort by price and ratings.
Most couples start planning in a panic tab-hop: venue Instagram, photographer TikTok, a florist a friend mentioned, then a spreadsheet that dies in week two.
The useful order is dumber than that.
Pick the area. Not “somewhere pretty” — the actual city or town the wedding has to live in.
Write the real number. Total budget, not the venue-only number you wish was the whole wedding.
Split that number before you fall in love with anything. Venues eat the largest slice. Catering is next. Photo, flowers, and music should not each get venue money.
Inside each category, sort two ways. Ratings first, so you see who people keep hiring. Then price low to high, so you see what still fits the slice.
Only then open the pretty photos.
A 4.8 with 200 Google reviews in your town will beat a 5.0 with four reviews from another county. A cheap venue that blows the catering budget is not cheap.
That is the whole method. Area, budget, categories, then sort.
