The real reason you're not hitting your macros (it's not discipline)
Most people think missing their macros is a willpower problem. It's not. It's a logistics problem.
You get home from the gym at 7pm. You're hungry NOW. You open the fridge and there's nothing prepped. So you order Chipotle and tell yourself "I'll start fresh Monday."
Sound familiar?
The fix isn't cooking harder — it's cooking smarter. Here's what changed everything for me:
Batch your protein on Sunday. Cook 3-4 lbs of chicken thigh or ground turkey. Season half with taco spice, half with lemon herb. That's two completely different flavor profiles from one cook session.
Pre-portion your carbs. Rice cooker does the work. 3 cups dry rice = roughly 12 servings. Divide into containers before you even think about it.
Vegetables are the easy part. Sheet pan. Olive oil. Salt. 400°F for 20 minutes. Done.
Total active time: ~45 minutes. Meals for the week: done.
I built PrepBox around exactly this system — weekly macro-friendly menus with simple recipes that take under 30 minutes. If you're tired of guessing what to eat, this is for you.
