The 5-minute rule that changed how I eat on busy days
Most people fail at eating healthy not because they don't know what to eat — but because they don't have a plan when the day gets chaotic.
Here's what I started doing: the 5-minute rule.
Every Sunday night, I spend 5 minutes writing down 3 meals I can make in under 10 minutes each. That's it. No meal prep containers, no grocery hauls, no complicated recipes.
Just 3 simple meals I actually like that I can default to when things get hectic.
Examples from my list this week:
Greek yogurt + granola + berries (breakfast, 2 min)
Canned tuna + avocado + crackers (lunch, 4 min)
Scrambled eggs + spinach + toast (dinner, 8 min)
The trick isn't willpower. It's removing the decision fatigue that makes you reach for DoorDash at 7pm.
I share stuff like this inside Coral Hill Creations — practical wellness for busy professionals who don't have time for complicated programs. Come hang. It's free.
