The brief I need from agencies before I write a word
Most agency-to-freelancer handoffs fail for one reason: the brief is a vibe, not a job.
If you are reselling copy, send this and nothing else:
Who the buyer is in one sentence (not "busy professionals")
What they buy, and what they were doing instead
The one objection that kills the sale
Three lines of copy you already like, even if they are not yours
What "done" looks like — landing page, 4 emails, 6 ads, etc.
I do not need your brand deck. I need the sale.
White-label only works when the agency owns the relationship and the writer owns the words. Mix those up and both of you look amateur.
That is the standard I run at Copyhaus.
