Ads Terms
These Ads Terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using Whop's advertising and promotional tools. By using our advertising service, you agree to these terms and our Terms of Service. We may update these terms from time to time.
1. On-Platform Advertising
Sellers can purchase paid advertising on Whop to promote their products. Your ads appear in search results and other prominent locations on our platform.
How It Works:
- You set a daily budget subject to Whop's minimum requirement
- You're charged per click (CPC), not per view
- Whop automatically determines bid amounts based on your budget
- You won't be charged more than your daily maximum
- All fees are in USD and charged to your payment account
You can pause campaigns anytime, but you're still responsible for charges incurred before pausing. No refunds for clicked ads.
2. Off-Platform Advertising
Whop may distribute your ads across third-party platforms (social media, search engines, etc.) in addition to on-platform advertising, all managed through a single campaign and budget.
How It Works:
- You set a total advertising budget
- Whop distributes your ads across Whop and third-party platforms based on performance and targeting
- You're billed for actual third-party platform costs plus Whop's advertising fees
- All fees are in USD and charged to your payment account
You remain responsible for compliance with each third-party platform's advertising policies. Whop is not responsible for third-party platform ad rejections or performance.
3. Prohibited Content
Sellers may not use advertising services to promote products or services that violate Whop's Community Guidelines or Prohibited Products & Services Policy. Please review those policies for the complete list of prohibited content.
Ads must not infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and must comply with all applicable laws.
Ads on third-party platforms are also subject to those platforms' own advertising policies and restrictions. Whop is not responsible for third-party platform ad rejections.
4. Performance Data & Analytics
Sellers have access to real-time performance data including impressions, clicks, spend, and platform breakdown through the advertising dashboard.
5. Compliance & Enforcement
Whop may suspend or terminate advertising services if you violate this policy or applicable law. Whop will provide notice of any material violations. You have 5 business days to cure or remove offending content before suspension takes effect.
6. Third-Party Platforms & Performance
When your ads appear on third-party platforms (social media, search engines, etc.), you remain solely responsible for compliance with each platform's terms and policies. Whop is not responsible for third-party platform policies, algorithms, or performance. Whop makes no guarantees regarding ad placement, impressions, clicks, or conversions.
7. No Performance Guarantees
Whop makes no guarantees regarding impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS, sales, or any other advertising outcomes. Results depend on product quality, pricing, competition, market conditions, and other factors beyond Whop's control.
8. Program Changes
Whop may change, suspend, or discontinue any advertising program at any time with or without notice. This includes changes to fees, algorithms, targeting options, or eligible sellers.
