Most productivity advice is overcomplicated. 47-step morning routines. Color-coded Notion databases with 12 views. Systems that take longer to maintain than the actual work.
Here's what actually works: if something takes less than 3 minutes, do it now. If it takes more, put it in exactly ONE place.
That's it. One capture point. One daily list. One weekly review.
I built my entire template system around this idea. Every template I make has to pass one test: can someone open this and start using it in under 3 minutes?
If not, it's too complicated.
Here's a quick example — my daily planning template has 3 sections:
Must do (max 3 items)
Should do (max 5 items)
If I have time (unlimited)
That's the whole thing. No priority matrices. No energy scoring. Just honest ranking of what matters today.
I've been refining these kinds of simple systems for a while now and just packaged the best ones into a starter pack. If you're the kind of person who's tried every productivity app and still feels scattered — these are built for you.
