Founder and Lead Instructor of CM Forensics Academy, bringing over 18 years of law enforcement experience, and Federal investigative experience, a total of 32 yrs of experience in the investigative field. She began her career as a police officer with the Puerto Rico Police Department, where she worked besides patrol, as a Robbery Detective Agent, she also led in the Narcotics division the intelligence unit, conducting undercover operations, raid, and controlled deliveries in collaboration with the DEA, ATF, and U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
Later, she served with the Baltimore Police Department, where she further honed her investigative skills before transitioning into federal contract work. Today, Cindy is a Federal Contract Investigator, Fingerprint Specialist, Forensic Photography Specialist, DNA Collector, Anti Human Trafficking Certified Educator and a Human Rights Certified Educator by the US Institute of Diplomacy in Washington DC.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Fingerprint Specialist & Forensic Photography, and while pursuing her Master's in Education, she maintained a 3.65 GPA before a line-of-duty injury prevented her from completing her practicum.
Cindy's extensive background includes fingerprint collection, classification, forensic photography, evidence handling, and courtroom testimony. Her expertise is reinforced by recognition of significant currency seizures and investigative excellence during her career.
Through CM Forensics Academy, Cindy provides practical, academy-style training for students, professionals, and agencies. Her courses empower learners with hands-on forensic knowledge while promoting the academy's core mission: "Seeking Truth in Science".
