The affiliate tracking problem nobody talks about on Whop
I've been running affiliate links across a handful of Whop products for a while now, and the thing that kept killing me was attribution.
Every creator's dashboard shows YOUR performance on THEIR product. That's fine if you're promoting one thing. But the second you're running links for 4-5 different sellers, you're stitching together numbers from 4-5 different dashboards, in your head, on a spreadsheet, hoping you didn't mess up a formula.
The actual failure mode I see most often: an affiliate keeps posting the same link for weeks after it went cold, because there's no unified view telling them "hey, this one's dead, redirect your traffic." That's not a hustle problem, it's a visibility problem.
A few things that have helped me personally, even before building tooling around it:
Name your links by channel, not by product (e.g. "tiktok-jan" not "product-link-1") so you can actually compare traffic sources across sellers
Set a weekly recurring reminder to check conversion rate, not just clicks — clicks feel good but don't pay rent
Kill anything under 1% conversion after 2 weeks unless you changed the offer
Building something to solve this properly right now (AffiliateIQ) — one dashboard across every product you promote instead of five tabs. Still early, but if attribution across multiple Whop affiliate programs is a problem you've hit too, curious how you're currently tracking it.
