Women should do their health care
Women should do their health care
After years of studying women's health, these are the patterns I see over and over:
1. Skipping meals to "be healthy"
Your metabolism isn't your enemy. Skipping meals spikes cortisol, tanks energy, and makes you more likely to overeat later. Three balanced meals > intermittent restriction.
2. Ignoring sleep for workouts
Getting up at 5am to exercise on 5 hours of sleep is doing more harm than good. Sleep is when your body actually repairs. Prioritize 7-8 hours before adding early morning sessions.
3. Only doing cardio
Strength training is non-negotiable for women. It builds bone density, balances hormones, and boosts metabolism long after the workout ends. You won't "get bulky" — you'll get strong.
4. Not drinking enough water
Most women are chronically dehydrated and blame the fatigue on everything else. Start with half your body weight in ounces daily. Your skin, digestion, and energy will thank you.
5. Treating symptoms instead of root causes
Headaches, bloating, fatigue, brain fog — these aren't just "normal." They're signals. Instead of popping pills, start tracking patterns and asking why.
Small shifts compound into massive results. Start with one of these this week.
