ChatGPT isn't saving you time. Here's why.
Most small-business owners I talk to already tried ChatGPT.
They paste an email. They get a decent reply. Then they still have to copy it, send it, log it, follow up, and do the same thing 40 more times that week.
That's not automation. That's a slightly faster typewriter.
The hours disappear in three places:
Inbox: the same 8 questions, rewritten by hand
Admin: invoices, reminders, status updates, "just checking in"
Data entry: moving info from one tool to another because nothing talks to anything else
If you're non-technical, building a custom AI setup is a second job. You don't need a second job. You need a workflow that's already built, named after the task you hate, and ready to run.
Pick one of those three. Automate that first. Then the rest of the week actually belongs to the business.
