You bought the manual. Do this today:

  1. Open The Manual and pick one loop you still run by hand — follow-ups, scheduling, or invoices.

  2. Install that one workflow before you touch anything else.

  3. If you get stuck, post in Operator Chat with the exact step.

Do not try to automate the whole business this week. One loop, running, is the win.

The four jobs that still eat Monday morning

Every home-service owner, wedding planner, clinic, and contractor I talk to is still doing the same four jobs by hand:

  1. Follow-ups. The lead who didn't reply. The quote sitting in drafts. The "just circling back" text you write at 9pm.

  2. Scheduling. Confirmations, reminders, reschedules — all living in a thread with the customer and a calendar you update twice.

  3. Invoices. Sent late. Chased later. Paid whenever.

  4. "Did you get this?" The status check that is really a second job.

None of these are the work you got licensed to do. They are the admin that grows every time you add a client.

The playbook is not more software. It is a written sequence for each loop: the trigger, the message, the tool, the exception. Copy it. Run it. Then the next one.

If you only install one this month, install follow-ups. That is the leak.
