Stop overpaying for phone cases — here's what actually matters
Most people spend $50+ on phone cases that look cool but crack on the first drop. After selling hundreds of cases, here's what I've learned actually matters:
1. Material > brand name. TPU + polycarbonate combo absorbs shock way better than hard plastic alone. Don't pay for a logo.
2. Raised lip = screen saver. If the case doesn't have a raised edge around the screen and camera, it's decorative, not protective.
3. MagSafe compatibility isn't optional anymore. Wireless charging, car mounts, wallet attachments — if your case blocks magnets, you're stuck in 2020.
4. Slim ≠ weak. The best cases right now are under 2mm thick and still pass military drop tests. Bulk doesn't equal protection.
We stock cases at Alpha Tech that check all these boxes — starting at $45 with free US shipping. Quality protection without the markup.
