3 mistakes killing most forex traders (and how I fixed them)
I've been trading forex for years and I see the same patterns destroy accounts over and over.
1. Trading without a system
Most traders "feel" their way into positions. No entry criteria, no exit plan. That's gambling, not trading. I built AlphaBot specifically to remove emotion from the equation — every signal follows a strict ruleset before it fires.
2. Oversizing positions
You hit a 3-trade win streak and suddenly you're going all-in. Then one loss wipes out a week of gains. Stick to 1-2% risk per trade. Always.
3. Ignoring the higher timeframe
A "perfect" setup on the 15min means nothing if the daily is screaming the opposite direction. Multi-timeframe alignment is everything.
These aren't secrets — they're just hard to follow consistently. That's exactly why I built automated signals. The algorithm doesn't get greedy. It doesn't revenge trade. It just executes.
