Why most solo devs never ship (and the one habit that fixes it)
I've watched a pattern play out over and over with solo developers: they have 5 half-finished apps and zero shipped products. Not because the ideas are bad or the code is bad — because there's no one checking in on them.
The fix isn't more tutorials or a better tech stack. It's a weekly public commitment. When you have to post "here's what I shipped this week" to actual people, momentum shows up in a way it never does alone at 1am.
I started AppForge for exactly this — a $2/month space where indie devs post builds, get blunt feedback, and check in weekly. Cheap on purpose, because the barrier should be commitment, not cost.
If you've got 3 unfinished apps sitting in a folder somewhere, that's the target audience.
