Welcome to Arena Tempo Academy 🎮

How to get started:

  1. Start the Course — Head to Speed Mastery Course and work through it in order. Each chapter builds on the last — tempo theory, Fortnite build mechanics, VGC speed control, then cross-game strategy.

  1. Use the Coaching Chat — Drop replays, ask questions, discuss strategies directly.

  1. Check Updates & Replays — Weekly meta analysis, set breakdowns, and coaching replay reviews.

  1. Put in Reps — After each lesson, play 5 games applying what you learned. Then come back and tell me what happened.

Let's get to work.

Most people think Fortnite and Pokémon VGC have nothing in common. They're wrong.

I've been coaching competitive Fortnite build fights for years and competing in VGC alongside it. The #1 skill that transfers between both? Tempo control.

In Fortnite, tempo means taking high ground before your opponent can react. In VGC, it means setting Tailwind on turn 1 and sweeping before they can respond. Same concept, different inputs.

The player who forces a reaction wins. In a build fight, the player placing builds in their opponent's space dictates the fight. In VGC, the player who sets speed control first forces the other to play catch-up.

Stop thinking about individual mechanics and start thinking about who controls the clock.

I teach both at Arena Tempo Academy — full structured course, live coaching chat, weekly meta breakdowns.
