The 5 things that actually changed my face in 6 months
Most looksmaxxing advice online is noise. Here's what actually moved the needle for me:
1. Mewing + proper tongue posture — Not the meme version. I'm talking consistent, 24/7 awareness of where your tongue sits. After 3 months my jawline definition was noticeably different.
2. Cutting body fat to 12-15% — Nothing reveals facial structure like losing the face fat. I combined a slight deficit with high protein and heavy compound lifts. Face gains were insane.
3. A real skincare routine — Cleanser, tretinoin, moisturizer, SPF. That's it. No 12-step routine. Consistency > complexity. My skin texture completely changed in 8 weeks.
4. Fixing forward head posture — Chin tucks, wall slides, and being conscious of how I sit. Better posture = better jawline visibility + you literally look taller and more confident.
5. Grooming fundamentals — Finding a haircut that suits my face shape, keeping eyebrows clean, whitening teeth. Small stuff that compounds.
None of this is secret. The difference is actually doing it every day for months.
I built Ascend because I wanted a place where guys hold each other accountable on this stuff. No BS, just results.
