This Saturday. Third year at the hotel, eve of the Veteran Car Run, last year's sale did 24 million pounds. Headliners: a 1988 Ferrari F40 from the first 50 built, non-cat, sliding plexiglass, estimated 1.8 to 2.4 million pounds. A one-owner 2023 Valkyrie Coupé, 150 built, 258 kilometres, same estimate. And the car a lot of people will actually fly for: Ayrton Senna's 1991 Honda NSX, chassis SX-25-59, the red one he kept in Portugal, drove to Estoril, and washed in those photographs. Estimate 500,000 to 800,000 pounds. Also a 1993 911 Carrera RS 3.8, one of 55, 10,210 kilometres, paint-to-sample Zermatt Silver. Preview 10am to 2pm for catalogue holders. 2. HSR Classic 24 Hour at Daytona

November 11-15 · Daytona International Speedway

Twelfth running of the historic endurance tribute. Ford is the featured marque: 60 years since Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby won the first official 24-hour Daytona in a GT40 Mk II, 125 years since Henry Ford's first race win. Peter Miles, Ken's son, is grand marshal. Peter Auto is bringing a grid of 1962-1965 GT cars. The point of HSR is the paddock. You walk it. You talk to the drivers. The cars that won Sebring, Le Mans, and Daytona are running, not roped. If historic racing is your thing, this is the Florida week that is not a concours lawn.

3. Mecum Las Vegas

November 12-14 · Las Vegas Convention Center

About 1,000 collector cars, three days, South Hall, the week after SEMA. Muscle, trucks, street rods, modern stuff, plus the Gem State Collection from a 1925 Studebaker Phaeton to a 2023 Challenger Jailbreak Last Call. Spectator tickets in advance are cheaper than at the gate. Kids under 12 free. If you stayed through SEMA Friday, stay three more days and watch the volume sale. If you skipped SEMA, this is the public way to stand next to a thousand cars in that building.

4. Rétromobile New York

November 19-22 · Javits Center, Manhattan

The first North American edition of the Paris salon, landing in the year Rétromobile Paris turns 50. Dealers, restorers, automotive art, and Gooding Christie's inaugural New York sale on Friday and Saturday. The lot everyone will talk about: Steve McQueen's 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4*S NART Spider, chassis 10453, sixth of ten built, first of two in Blu Sera, still wearing McQueen's darker metallic respray and seat stitching, matching-numbers, unrestored, in the same collection since 1986. Estimate 15 to 20 million dollars. First time it has ever been offered publicly. Also more than 70 motorcycles from Billy Joel, all without reserve, and a Mercedes-Maybach S 680 built for LeBron James with proceeds to his foundation. Thursday preview 95 dollars. The biggest indoor American-muscle weekend. Nearly 600 cars, 400,000 square feet, Halls A through D. Saturday 9am to 8pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm. Fresh restorations unveil at 9:30 Saturday. C3 Corvette Legends, Triple Diamond certification, an L89 Camaro invitational, a Studebaker Legends display that includes Brooks Stevens's personal GT Hawk from the museum. Guests on the bill: Wayne Carini, Dennis Collins, Chris Jacobs, plus a drag-racing legends seminar. 45 dollars at the door, 40 at outlets, kids 12 and under free, Sunday is Military Appreciation Day. This Thursday. Europe's largest historic-vehicle show. 235,000 square metres, 13 halls, more than 5,000 cars and motorbikes on display and for sale, visitors from 40 countries. The new headliner is Icons of Speed, a Le Mans-to-Daytona endurance exhibition in the Via Costituzione entrance hall, with a Bentley EXP Speed 8 among the first confirmed cars. Four themed paths: dealers and restorers, motorbikes, culture, and spare parts. If you collect, restore, or just want to walk the biggest classic market in Europe before winter, this is the one that starts now.

2. SEMA Show and SEMA Fest

November 3-6 · Las Vegas Convention Center

Trade-only Tuesday through Thursday. Friday, November 6, the floor opens to the public, 9am to 4pm, 16 and over, tickets in advance only. $130 for the halls, $170 if you want the concert. SEMA Fest is the outdoor closer in the Bronze Lot: gates at 3pm, The Alive at 4, 311 at 5:10, Jimmy Eat World at 6:50, The Offspring at 8:40, with Optima drifting and a Globe of Death between sets. Supercar Saturdays Florida is back with a hypercar display. Battle of the Builders overall winner is announced at 11am Friday at Central Hall booth 24743, during public hours. 3. Royal Bahrain Concours

November 6-7 · Royal Golf Club, Riffa, Bahrain

Second edition, now two days, under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Thorough Events, the Hampton Court and London Concours team, is bringing 60 collector cars, 40 from GCC collections and 20 from further afield, plus about 200 club cars on the same lawn. Classes run Pre-1940s, Modern Coachbuilt, American, British and European Heritage, Supercars, Hypercars, a curated Big 6, Thirty Under 30, Restomod, and 4x4 Trailblazers. Judges already named include Octane's James Elliott and Classic & Sports Car's Alastair Clements. Same weekend as SEMA Friday. Pick Vegas or the Gulf.

4. Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show

November 13-15 · NEC, Birmingham, UK

The UK's biggest indoor classic show. Seven halls, 3,000-plus cars and bikes, 320 clubs, 450 traders, 600 vehicles for sale. Theme this year is Debutant: clubs were told to bring cars the halls have not seen. Iconic Auctioneers runs the Super Auction, including three Grand Tour cars offered directly from Jeremy Clarkson with no reserve: the 1982 Lancia Montecarlo Spider from the final episode, a 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6, and the 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V that still has the nitrous and the bagpipes. Also on the block: Harry Metcalfe's Jaguar XE SV Project 8, a Countach LP5000 S, and Noel Gallagher's Silver Shadow II. Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm. Two days, two venues, one South Florida weekend. Saturday, November 14, 11am to 5pm: DRIVEN Concours at The Abbey at Aventura, the duPont REGISTRY and Prestige Imports flagship after May's Cars & Coffee. Curated exotics, VIP hospitality, live entertainment. Sunday, November 15, 11am to 4pm: the 9th Annual Exotics at The Colonnade at Sawgrass Mills. Free for spectators. This Saturday. Free. No ticket. One of the oldest and largest antique shows in the mid-Atlantic, 60-plus years running, 33 clubs, more than 500 cars on the hills around Glenview Mansion. Packard to Ferrari. The special display this year is the one to walk first: Mercedes-Benz, marking 140 years since Benz's Patent-Motorwagen and 100 years since the 1926 merger that created the brand. Show-car registration is already sold out. Spectators just show up, 11am to 3:30pm. Flea market, live music, Mayor and Council Award at 2:45. If you are anywhere near D.C. this weekend, this is the easy yes.

2. Mecum Dallas/Fort Worth

October 21-24 · Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas

Sixteen years in DFW, about 1,500 collector cars over four days. Muscle, Corvettes, trucks, exotics, the usual Mecum mix, plus the Waters Mopar Collection: a TorRed V-Code Superbird and a one-of-three Moulin Rouge pink Road Runner. Last year's top sale was a 2006 Ford GT at $632,000. Spectator tickets are $30 a day, kids under 12 free. Same weekend as F1 at COTA, so pick your Texas. If you are shopping, this is the volume sale. If you are not, it is still the cheapest way to stand next to 1,500 cars in one building.

3. St James's Motoring Spectacle

October 31 · Pall Mall, London

Free, 10am to 3pm, street closed. Last year 12,000 people walked past 150-plus cars from Victorian veterans to current Formula 1. This year the F1 display marks 100 years since Britain's first Grand Prix at Brooklands. One end of Pall Mall is the St James's Concours, period costume and all. Mercedes-Benz is bringing its oldest roadworthy commercial vehicle, an 1899 Benz combination delivery van, as a preview for Sunday. If you can only do one day in London, do this one. You will see cars that usually live in museums, without a rope.

4. RM Sotheby's London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

November 1 · Hyde Park to Madeira Drive

The world's oldest motoring event. More than 400 cars built before 1905 leave Hyde Park at dawn and cover 60 miles to Brighton. Theme this year is Germany: the Birth of the Motorcar, 140 years after the Patent-Motorwagen. That 1899 Benz van runs the route. Watch the start in Hyde Park or the finish on Madeira Drive from 10am to 4:30pm. It is not a race. It is 400 machines that should not still be running, running.

5. All-Stars Car Show at Daikin Park

November 7-8 · Daikin Park, Houston, Texas

Year two of the only car show inside an MLB stadium. Last year: 14,000 people, 380-plus cars. This year they are publishing a field that includes an AMG Project One, a McLaren Sabre (15 built), Horacio Pagani's Geneva-show Zonda F, a silver Enzo with 500 miles, a Valkyrie, and Ralph Lauren's Murciélago SV. Thirty-five hypercars on the field, 275 supercars in and around the park, plus Houston lowriders on the streets. Field and VIP sold out early last year. General admission starts at $35. If modern exotics are your thing, this is the must-see of the month. The London weekend is history. This is the circus.

If you collect parts, brass-era cars, or stories, this is the one. Hershey Week is still the largest antique automobile flea market and show in the country, spread across the lots around Hersheypark and the Giant Center. The flea market and car corral open Tuesday. Friday is the judged show of 1,000-plus vehicles. Thursday's race-car condition run and Hughes High-Wheeler event in the stadium are open to spectators. No admission fee for the flea market, corral, or Friday show.

2. Zoute Grand Prix Car Week

October 7-11 · Knokke-Heist, Belgium

Last year's edition pulled more than 250,000 people onto the Belgian coast. This year the week spreads across four venues: the Gallery on Albertplein, Green Grounds on the Approach golf, a new 4x4 Village on Heist beach, and a Bonhams marquee opposite the Grand Casino. Broad Arrow runs a concours auction Friday. The Zoute Concours d'Elegance by ING Private Banking is Saturday and Sunday. The Zoute Sale by Bonhams is Sunday. If Europe is on your October itinerary, this is the stop.

3. Sun Coast Jaguar Club 40th Annual Concours

October 10 · St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, Florida

Forty years of Jaguars on the palm-shaded lawn of St. Armands Circle, sanctioned by JCNA, free for spectators. Friday night welcome at Gecko's. Saturday 9am-3pm on the circle, winners announced after 3. Awards dinner at Crab and Fin. If you own a Jaguar, registration is still open. If you don't, it is still one of the better free shows on the Gulf this month.

Year five, presented by Richard Mille. Hundreds of cars across judged classes covering pre-war European, American muscle, 70s-90s supercar pin-ups, and a 40th anniversary class for the Porsche 959. Friday night, Night Shift GT takes over the rooftop of Wynn's parking garage from 7-10pm. Hotel packages bundle rooms with Saturday exhibition tickets. Same weekend as Hilton Head, so pick your coast.

Jaguar is the honored marque. Pontiac turns 100. The Bronco turns 60. Friday is the Lowcountry Driving Tour plus a Taylor Hicks concert on the 18th fairway. Saturday is the Car Club Showcase. Sunday, November 1, is the judged concours: 200-plus cars, 75 judges, Best of Show on Planter's Row. Two-day tickets are the practical buy if you can stay.
