Sunday meal prep is why most lifters miss their protein
Most gym-goers don't fail because they don't know what to eat. They fail because they try to cook 20 meals on Sunday and then eat dry chicken for five days.
Here's what actually happens:
You buy $80 of chicken, rice, and broccoli. You spend 3 hours batching. By Wednesday the chicken is rubber and you're ordering Chipotle. Thursday you're "just grabbing something." Friday your protein is 90g under.
The issue isn't discipline. It's that cooking 5 days of food in one sitting produces food nobody wants to eat by day three.
Local meal-prep chefs cook in smaller batches, rotate menus, and actually season the food. You still hit 40-50g of protein a meal. You just don't have to live in your kitchen to do it.
If you're training 4+ days a week and still cooking every Sunday, you're paying for the gym with time you already don't have.
That's the problem BatchKitchen is built around.
