The #1 reason beginners never launch their first online store (and how to skip it)

I've noticed the same pattern over and over with people trying to start selling online for the first time: they spend weeks picking a logo, a name, a perfect niche — and never actually list a product.

Here's the uncomfortable truth: your first product will probably be mediocre, and that's fine. The goal of your first offer isn't to be perfect, it's to get real feedback from a real customer.

A few things that actually move the needle when you're starting from zero:

1. Validate before you build. Search if people are already buying something similar. If they are, that's demand — don't run from competition, use it as proof.

2. Price it like it matters. New sellers chronically underprice. If your price feels a little uncomfortable to say out loud, it's probably closer to right.

3. Get to your first sale fast. Don't wait for 100 followers or a polished brand. Message 10 people who actually fit your target customer. One yes teaches you more than a month of planning.

I just put together a free beginner course walking through this whole process step by step — finding a product, setting up a store, and landing your first sale. If you're starting from zero and want a structured path, it's linked on my profile. Happy to answer questions here too.
