Auditors don't grade how pretty your policy looks. They ask a supervisor what happens when a contractor shows up without induction. If that person can't answer in 20 seconds, the paperwork is theater.
Three things that actually hold up:
One procedure per task, written the way the job is done
A toolbox talk that matches that procedure, used the same week
An audit checklist that asks for evidence, not signatures
