Welcome to BoxRaw School 🥊

What's good — glad you're here.

Here's how to get started:

1. Boxing Fundamentals (Course) — Start here. I'll walk you through stance, guard, and your first combinations step by step. No experience needed.

2. Drills & Updates (feed) — New drills, technique breakdowns, and conditioning routines every week. Turn on notifications.

3. Boxing Talk (Chat) — Ask questions, post form check videos, connect with other members. No dumb questions — everyone starts somewhere.

The only way to get better at boxing is to actually throw punches. So don't just watch — grab some gloves and get to work.

Let's go.

3 things I wish someone told me before my first day at the gym

I've been boxing for 10 years. Here's what I'd tell myself on day one:

1. Your stance matters more than your punch.

Most beginners obsess over hitting hard. But if your feet are wrong, nothing else works. Get your stance right first — shoulder-width apart, dominant foot back, weight balanced. Everything flows from there.

2. Breathing is a skill.

You'll gas out in round 1 if you hold your breath every time you throw. Exhale sharp on every punch. Inhale when you reset. It sounds simple but almost nobody does it naturally.

3. Slow is fast.

The guys throwing wild haymakers in round 1 are always the first ones gassed. Controlled, technical shots at 70% speed will always beat sloppy power. Speed comes from relaxation, not tension.

Boxing changed my life — discipline, confidence, fitness, all of it. If you've been thinking about starting, stop thinking and start moving.

I teach complete beginners inside BoxRaw School. Real technique, no fluff, from someone who's actually been in the ring.
