Your clothing brand doesn't have a content problem. It has a Monday problem.
Most small clothing brands I talk to already know what they sell. The stall is the same every week: it's Sunday night, you need 4–7 posts, and you're staring at a phone with 40 product photos and no system.
Hiring a designer for that is $200–$500 a month. Skipping it makes the page look amateur, which costs more.
What actually works for Instagram boutiques without a content team:
1. Batch one grid, not one post. Pick 9 photos. Decide the story of the next 9 squares before you write a single caption. Feed aesthetic is a sequence, not a vibe.
2. Stop writing captions from scratch. Keep a swipe file of 20 angles: drop day, fabric close-up, fit check, styling 3 ways, restock, UGC restyle, size guide, behind-the-cut, founder note, last-chance. Rotate. Don't invent.
3. Templates are not cheating. Your customer is scrolling at 1am. They buy the feeling of a real brand, not the hours you spent in Canva. Edit the template, drop your product in, post.
4. Post even when the drop isn't ready. Outfit formulas, fabric education, and "how we'd style this" keep a boutique account alive between drops. Silence is what kills a new clothing brand.
If you run a clothing brand and this is your week, that's the whole job: a system you can repeat on Monday without a designer.
That's what we built the Vault for.
