3 bankroll mistakes that kill most sports bettors

Most people who lose money betting aren't bad at picking games. They're bad at managing money. Here are the 3 biggest bankroll mistakes I see:

1. No unit system. If you're just throwing random amounts on games, you have no edge. Every serious bettor uses a flat unit system — 1-3% of your bankroll per play. No exceptions.

2. Chasing losses. You go 0-2 early in the day and suddenly you're hammering a -300 favorite to "get back to even." That's how bankrolls die. Every play should be independent.

3. Parlays are a losing system. Your focus has to be on straight bets. If you are only doing parlays, you are setting yourself up for failure.
