2. Call Prep — Rules & Etiquette (watch before you book)

Before booking any paid call, check out the new Call Prep course. It covers the ground rules for a good call — being on time, coming with a specific question, and treating your buddy's time with respect. This protects the quality of every call and keeps things dignified for the mentors giving their time.

Want to be a BuddyConnect mentor? Here's exactly how to get started:

1. Who we're looking for:

• 12th graders (to guide 11th graders on stream/college choices)

• UPSC/IAS aspirants, junior or retired IAS officers (to guide aspirants)

• Junior corporate managers (to guide people 1-2 steps behind them)

You just need to be a few steps ahead of the person you're helping — not a "guru," a buddy.

2. How to apply:

Send us a DM or open a Support Chat on this page with:

• Your name

• Which track you fit (Student / IAS / Corporate)

• A quick line on your journey/background

3. What happens next:

We vet your background, then set you up with buddy access — you'll get your own chat where people book calls with you directly.

4. How you get paid:

Check the pinned rate card post for exact payout numbers. Payouts are per completed call, tracked automatically through your BuddyConnect account.
