The 3 assets that actually sell a done-for-you digital bundle (most creators skip #2)
Spent the last few months packaging digital bundles for creators. Here's the pattern behind every bundle that actually sold vs. the ones that flopped:
1. A case study, not a feature list.
Nobody buys "templates included." They buy proof it works. The winning format: Before → What we changed → After (with a number). If you don't have a real customer yet, run it on yourself and be honest about the timeline.
2. Promo copy that's pre-written for you — this is the one people skip.
Most creators build the product, then stare at a blank cursor trying to write the launch tweet. If your bundle doesn't ship with 5-10 ready-to-post promo angles (announcement, pain point, social proof, curiosity, urgency), you'll sit on inventory. Copy is part of the product, not an afterthought.
3. An SOP, not just a file.
A template answers "what." An SOP answers "when and how." Pricing SOP, positioning SOP, launch-week SOP — these are what actually get someone from "I bought this" to "I used this and made money." This is the difference between a $9 Gumroad file and a $200+/mo retained subscriber.
Building bundles that hit all 3 of these has completely changed our retention. Happy to share more specifics if anyone's working on their own bundle right now — drop a comment.
