The 3 things I wish someone told me before starting an online business
I wasted months trying to start my first online business because nobody gave me a straight answer. So here it is — the 3 things that actually matter when you're starting from zero:
1. Pick ONE thing and go deep.
The biggest mistake beginners make is trying 5 different business models at once. Dropshipping Monday, affiliate marketing Tuesday, crypto Wednesday. Pick one. Master it. Move on later if you want — but not before you've actually made money from it.
2. Your first $1 matters more than someone else's $10K.
Everyone's flexing screenshots. Ignore it. Your first sale — even if it's $1 — proves the entire model works. After that, it's just optimization. Most people quit before they earn that first dollar. Don't be most people.
3. Marketing isn't optional — it IS the business.
You can have the best product in the world. If nobody sees it, you make $0. Learn how to get attention. Learn how to write copy that converts. Learn how to run simple ads. These skills print money forever.
