The 30-second daily habit that changed how I handle stress

I used to carry stress like a backpack full of rocks. Midterms, deadlines, social pressure — it all just piled up until I'd crash.

Then I started doing one tiny thing every morning: I'd rate my mood from 1-10 and write one sentence about why.

That's it. 30 seconds.

After two weeks, I noticed something wild. My worst days weren't random — they followed a pattern. Every time I stayed up past 2am or skipped meals, the next day was a 3 or 4. Every time I went for a walk between classes, I was a 7+.

I wasn't broken. I just never had the data to understand myself.

That insight is what led me to build Calmly — an AI wellness companion that helps you track your mood, spot patterns, and actually feel better over time. Not in a clinical, cold way. More like a friend who remembers how you felt last Tuesday and asks how that exam went.

If you're a college student running on caffeine and anxiety, this might be the thing that changes your semester.

We're just getting started and I'd love early feedback from people who get it. 🙌
