What's for sale (not legal advice)

You send one photo or PDF. You get a one-page decode: what each line is, what looks off, and the one next step that is not "pay in panic."

Bill Decode — $12

A hospital bill, EOB, utility, or invoice. Usually back in under an hour, in chat.

Catch Page — $19

A lease, TOS, or contract. The lock-ins and money terms, on one page.

New-user code COPY1 takes $3 off. One document per order.

This is not legal, tax, or medical advice. No promise we find an error. Sometimes the bill is just the bill.

How to read one bill before you pay it (not legal advice)

Highlighter on the due line. Stamp on the rest.

This is the six-step read. One statement. One pass. Pencil in the margin.

  1. Who is billing you, and for what date range. Provider vs insurer vs collection vs the utility.

  2. What they say you already paid, or what insurance "allowed." On an EOB, billed is not allowed, and allowed is not patient responsibility.

  3. Duplicate dates of service, duplicate CPT-looking codes, or the same period billed twice.

  4. Fees that were not on the original estimate: processing, late, convenience, equipment rental, facility.

  5. The one number that is actually due, and the date. Ignore the scary total at the top until you can point to that line.

  6. The one next step that is not "pay in panic": ask for an itemized statement, call the number on the bill, or wait for the EOB if this is not it.

If a line still does not make sense, write the exact line and the question in one sentence. That is the whole job.
