Client Outreach Blueprint for Clippers
Here’s a simple way to land your first paying creator client.
1. Pick a lane. Choose 1–2 niches you already watch (gaming, fitness, finance, etc.). Your first clients come faster when you already know the content.
2. Build a 30–60 second sample. Clip a public video from a creator you’d want to work with. Tight hook, clean cut, captions on. This is your proof, not a pitch deck.
3. Find 10 creators a day. Look for people posting long-form who barely clip. YouTube, Twitch VODs, podcasts. If they have views and no short-form, they’re a fit.
4. Send a short DM. Lead with the sample. “Made this from your last video. If you want 3–5 of these a week, I can handle it.” No essays. No “let me pick your brain.”
5. Price a first offer. One week, a set number of clips, a clear price. Get a yes. You can raise rates after you’ve delivered.
6. Deliver on time, then ask for the next week. Reliability is what turns a test into a retainer.
Drop your niche and a sample in the comments if you want feedback. We’ll help you tighten it.
