Why most beginner clippers get rejected (and how to fix it in 5 minutes)

If you're new to Whop Content Rewards and your clips keep getting rejected, it's almost never about video quality. It's usually one of these 3 mistakes:

1. Ignoring the caption/hashtag brief

Every campaign has specific requirements for captions, hashtags, and sometimes even @ mentions. Reviewers check this first. Skipping it is the #1 reason clips get bounced — even when the edit itself is great.

2. Posting as a link instead of native video

Platforms (and campaign trackers) reward native uploads, not shared links. A re-posted link tanks your view count and can flag your submission as invalid. Always upload directly to the platform the campaign targets.

3. Weak hooks in the first 1-3 seconds

If viewers scroll past in the first couple seconds, your view count dies — and low views often means no payout even if the clip is technically "approved." Lead with the most interesting, surprising, or high-energy moment, not a slow intro.

Fix these three things and your acceptance rate (and earnings) will jump immediately.
