5 things that actually helped me stop hardstuck-ing
I was stuck in Gold for 6 months. Same rank, same mistakes, same frustration. Here's what actually moved the needle:
1. I stopped solo queuing every game. Finding even one consistent duo who communicates changed everything. You can't control randoms, but you can control who you queue with.
2. I watched my own replays (painful but necessary). You don't realize how many times you're out of position until you see it from the enemy's perspective. 10 minutes of replay review > 3 hours of autopilot grinding.
3. I picked 2-3 agents/characters and stuck with them. Jack of all trades = master of none. Depth beats breadth when you're trying to climb.
4. I warmed up with intention. Not just aim trainers on autopilot — actual drills that target what I'm bad at. Tracking? Flicking? Crosshair placement? Pick one and grind it for 15 min before you queue.
5. I found a community that actually gave feedback. Not "you're trash" — real, constructive callouts on what to improve. That's the difference between grinding and growing.
