I've been teaching both Japanese and coding for a while now, and I keep seeing the same pattern: students who learn both end up with way more opportunities than those who pick just one.

Here's why:

Japan needs tech workers — badly. The country has a massive labor shortage, especially in IT. If you speak Japanese AND can code, you skip the line. Companies in Tokyo and Osaka are actively recruiting from Nepal.

Coding teaches you how to think. Even if you never move to Japan, programming gives you problem-solving skills that transfer to everything — from freelancing to building your own business.

Japanese opens doors beyond Japan. Japanese companies operate globally. Knowing the language gives you access to jobs in Singapore, Thailand, the US, and beyond.

The trick is learning both at the same time, in a language you actually understand. That's why I teach in Nepali and English — so nothing gets lost in translation.
