The real reason most creators plateau under 1,000 followers

I've looked at hundreds of small accounts stuck at 0-1K, and it's almost never a talent or luck problem. It's one of three things:

1. They post when inspired instead of on a schedule. Algorithms reward consistency more than quality in the first few months. A mediocre post on schedule beats a great post posted randomly.

2. They optimize the wrong metric. Views feel good, but saves and shares are what get you pushed to new audiences. If your content isn't useful or re-watchable enough to save, more views won't fix that.

3. They never look at their own data. The creators who break through are the ones checking retention graphs weekly and doubling down on the exact format that's working — not chasing trends.

Fix the schedule first. It's the one thing fully in your control, and it's usually the actual bottleneck.
