You accept a slightly lower probability of cashing in exchange for a dramatically higher ceiling when you're right.

A 6% owned WR who explodes for 40 DK points moves your lineup up 94% of the field in one play. No chalk play ever does that.

The math says: in large-field GPPs, you should be fading the public almost every week. Not randomly — strategically.

1. They set hard ownership caps. QBs above 15% are almost never played, regardless of how good the matchup looks.

2. They target secondary games. Not the primetime national TV matchup everyone is talking about. The 1pm game with a 48.5 total that nobody is watching.

3. They use correlation as a multiplier. Low-owned QB + his low-owned WR2 + a contrarian bring-back from the opposing team. When that game script hits, it's a rocket ship.
