Most clippers lose week one on the campaign, not the hook

People treat clipping like a content skill. It is a buying decision first.

If the campaign does not print the payout, you are volunteering. If footage is not dropping most days, you will run out of raw in 72 hours. If QA is silent, you will stack unpaid work.

A filter I use before I cut anything:

  • Written rate (not “top clippers earn more”)

  • Fresh footage most days

  • Rules a phone can actually hit

  • License to use the footage — not “find clips on the internet”

Then the math. At $1 per 1k views, $500 is 500,000 views. That is a posting problem. Three to five clips a day for two weeks beats one “perfect” clip you never post.

Hooks matter after you have a campaign that pays and a streak that exists. Not before.
