Some things I've noticed working in this space:

• Tutorials outperform reactions. "How to build X with Y" gets 3-5x more watch time than "Reacting to GPT-5." People want to DO things.

• Specificity wins. "Fine-tuning Llama 3 on your own data" beats "Top 10 AI tools" every time for building a loyal audience.

• Retention > views. A 15-minute deep dive on transformer architecture that holds 60% retention grows your channel faster than a viral short with 1M views and 0 subscribers.

• Consistency compounds. The tech creators who break through aren't the smartest — they're the ones who post every week for a year.
