Spent the last stretch building an AI coaching tool for Valorant/CS2/Apex players, and the same pattern shows up over and over in stuck-rank players: it's almost never aim.

Aim is trainable in aim_botz for 20 minutes a day. What actually keeps people at Gold/Plat for seasons is decision-making under pressure — specifically three things:

1. Round-to-round econ discipline. Players force buys when they shouldn't, or eco when they should half-buy, and lose the round before it starts.

2. Rotation timing. Rotating a beat too late (or too early, faking yourself out of a real read) costs more rounds than a missed headshot ever will.

3. Post-plant patience. Most losses after planting come from peeking too early out of impatience, not from being outgunned.

The hard part is nobody tells you this in real time — by the time you VOD review, you've already forgotten the mental state you were in. That's the gap I'm building Crest to close: live, in-the-moment coaching instead of a postmortem three days later.
