Why most clipping agencies overpay editors and underpay clippers (and how we fixed it)

Ran the numbers on a few clipping campaigns before starting ClipForge, and the split was broken almost everywhere: agencies take huge cuts off the top, then pay clippers flat rates regardless of whether the clip actually pops.

That's backwards. A clip that hits 2M views should not get paid the same as one that hits 20K.

So ClipForge runs on a simple structure:

  • Brand deposits a campaign budget with us

  • We take a fixed commission off the top — transparent, disclosed upfront

  • The rest gets paid to clippers based on real view thresholds hit, not flat fees

If you're a podcast/streamer clipper who's tired of "exposure" gigs or flat $5-a-clip rates that don't scale with your actual output, this is built for you. If you're a brand sitting on VOD/podcast content that isn't being repurposed into clips, that's wasted distribution — happy to talk.
