3 things every new Whop seller gets wrong about pricing (and how to fix them)
Been deep in the weeds setting up crypto/trading Whops lately, and the same 3 pricing mistakes keep showing up. Sharing in case it helps anyone launching soon:
1. No trial = higher cart abandonment.
A short free trial (even 1 day) dramatically lowers the "is this worth it" friction for cold traffic. You still get billing info upfront, and the vast majority of trial starters who don't cancel convert to full-price payers.
2. Hiding the price until checkout.
State it clearly on your product page, right next to the trial callout. "Free for 1 day, then $X/week" builds more trust than a vague "join now" — and it lowers disputes/chargebacks since nobody is surprised by the charge.
3. Treating affiliates as an afterthought.
Turning on your affiliate program on day one (even at a default 30%) means every member who loves your product has a built-in reason to refer others. Compounds fast once you have your first 10-20 happy members.
Happy to answer questions if anyone's setting up pricing/trials on their own Whop right now.
